Hey guys I'm just curious how fast these guys are supposed to grow? I bought 5 tiny L1 larvae almost exactly two months ago and the are already enormous L3 now!! Is this a normal speed of growth?

This guy flew in on the deck the other night, sorry I can't remember the correct name at the moment we called them timber beetles when I was younger.

Any body know what this is ? I find them once in a while I've never found a live one there always dead... I know it's a bad picture but and help is appreciated...

This is what I believe these to be, I had to remove a very large stump today and found atleast 8 of these guys along with two giant egg sacs loaded with little ones There awesome spiders and I plan to keep a couple just because there so interesting!
