I've started to take interest in predatory beetles. Scarabs and stags are great but the short lifespans and the difficulty of finding substrate is getting tiresome, but I really love beetles and would like to give these a try. Large rove beetles would be especially appreciated! Thanks!

Hello! Living in Florence, Italy, and on several occasions while walking to school I have come across some largish black beetles with teal blue leg segments and thin blue lines around its body. Found on an asphalt walkway with maple and sycamore leaf litter. -Niko

Hello, I'm Niko. I live in SoCal and love beetles. I also breed mantids and some true spiders. I'm new to the hobby and am starting out with a challenge by getting some phanaeus vindex dung beetles! If anyone could show me around or help me out with some tips it would be greatly appreciated

Just had some phanaeus vindex (rainbow dung beetles) arrive at my doorstep! I'm going to be breeding them soon and will have larvae available! Any tips on breeding and care? I think I have the basics and have a ready supply of rabbit dung, but any additional advice is welcome!
