I am interested in a dozen or so grubs of Dynastes tityus or Lucanus elephas in L2 or smaller.  Pay by paypal, or I might have native Saturniidae ova later in the season for trade.

I've had this guy since August 29, caught at Lost Lake in Linn county Oregon. I'm not sure what he eats, but I'm doing something right, because it has grown. My guide for North American  Crickets and Katydids and Grasshoppers doesn't offer much help. I think this might be a "grig"

My new capture from central Oregon, it was lurking under the uv light when I was scooping up Smerinthus cerisyi. Currently living safely indoors eating oats and beetle jelly. Have mercy, I'm still getting the hang of resizing pictures.

I have 3 goliathus grubs, and 3 days ago the female, albeit a bit small at 40 grams decided to begin pupation. I followed some instructions I saw in a video- they did not work. 2 baseball size balls of clay covered with substrate, at that point, I began trying everything else I could think of...

I've been keeping track of the weights of my 2 male and 1 female goliatus grubs and have been able to see a pattern of weight gain. The males seem to be gaining 3 grams a week, and the female 2 grams. My operation- change substrate, wash the grub and feed moistened koi pellets every 3- 4 days...

A lot of us are raising goliathus. If the beetle grubs eat protein in the wild, has anyone tried feeding the grubs live foods like mealworms?
