Ryan Minard
Got these epic beetles from Jordan. Thanks man!
Peter Clausen
I know it's a character of stags, but those mandibles just look disproportionate on that beetle! Good luck with those. I'm still hoping to get up to my Oregon stag beetle locality to do some collecting before the mosquitoes come out (the place is very swampy). Check out all the larvae and the size of the mandibles at this link: http://bugguide.net/node/view/18536
Ryan Minard
Hey if you get any cool species there please tell me.
Regiarbol
These beetles are nice and gnarly. I haven't gotten piceus though; I have only found some Ceruchus that live in Californian mountains.
