Eduardo
Hello, I have always wondered where D. hyllus occurs. There is a supposed population near Monterrey, Mexico in the higher altitudes, but I’ve searched for them thoroughly and have never had any luck. I have looked in the mountains, including the Sierra Madre and found inverts like Chrysina phittacina, Strategus, Automeris moths, tarantulas, scorpions, Whirligig beetles, etc., but no Hyllus! Does anyone know about any natural hotspots for Dynastes hyllus? Also, hypothetically speaking, would it be possible for their range to stray into the U.S.? Thank you!
