Umm, apparently it doesn't seems like it is making a pupa room. You can tell if it is a pupal chamber by looking at the soil color. When they make a chamber, larvae uses its body waste to make chamber stronger, so the soil color should be almost close to black when they are making room.

I have wait 4 months and now my substrate is black color! But the problem is that the soil itself has no smell. Like I can smell nothing when I stuck my nose inside. Is this good?

Hello, I have been keeping M. sleeperi from bugs in cyberspace for 6 months. And instead of growing or pupating, they don't grow. Instead they are losing weigh from 9 grams to 7 grams. I think there is no problem with temperature or substrate, because granti beetles were growing so well in same room. Can anyone help me?

I learned that most insects except for few species such as Madagascar cockroach and and goliath beetle. But the question is mantis also permitted? I want to buy one orchid mantis and I am not sure if it is able to keep them in US.
