I am a 14-year old amateur entomologist collecting inverts since 4, and love everything entomology and biology related, having started keeping live beetles at the age of 6. I now care for many species of beetles, other invertebrates, and a few herps, and enjoy raising them and the endless enjoyment and curiosity they offer.
Humans have been around for a mere 2.8 million years, whereas the first insects came over 480 million years ago. Even after hundreds of years of studying we will never know everything, let alone a fraction of the largest order in the world: Coleoptera.
