First published on rearing scarabs in 1995 and published a book on husbandry for Grant's Rhinoceros beetle in 1999. I wrote chapters on flower beetles and jewel scarabs and provided information for other chapters mostly on rhinoceros beetles in 1999 for what would be For the Love of Rhinoceros and Stag Beetles 2001 first edition. For the 2008 2nd edition I added a chapter on Phileurus truncatus. Publishing efforts have always been geared towards the singular goal of promoting beetle keeping as a hobby and sharing experiences with others. My husbandry goal has been to maintain and perfect blood lines of scarabaeidae with no introduction of wild stock for as many decades as possible. My greatest achievement towards this goal is the high-yellow 1995 Dynastes tityus.
