Congrats! In 2009, Orin and I attended the American Tarantula Society Conference in Arizona. I collected a Strategus female. She laid a single egg. That egg hatched in 2010 and it's just over three years and hasn't pupated yet. It's BIG!

 

How long did yours take from eggs to pupae?

That is insanely long! Sounds like you have enormous larva! Most of mine only took around 12~14 months from egg to adult.

 

The ones that a.ojala posted are probably the ones that hatched around Aug.~Sept. , 2012

This explains my problem. Hahahaha! I've had mine for QUITE some time and it JUST reached L3.
