  2. megasoma vogti megasoma punctulatus megasoma sleeperi
  3. there are many other rhino beetles native to the USA. Strategus genus Phileurus genus Megasoma genus anyone else can add anything?
  4. they may be rejecting the substrate, although Ive never heard of A. d. ever being picky. the humidity may be high, or if your top is glass and closed they may not be receiving oxygen.
  5. look closely and you'll see the answer...
  6. the larvae shouldn't really need any supplemental heat unless you live in a cold area, and plan on keeping them outside. I keep my cotinis in wood flake with a small amount of sand. good luck
  7. High humidity is usually a "must" for cp.'s.
  8. Now I know exactly what you're thinking; "OH GOSH, another plant post!" haha well thats exactly what this is! It's a picture of one of my Nepenthes macrophylla pitchers. This species is for the more "experienced " grower. It's one of the many species you may grow if you ever get into the hobby. It grows extremely slow and it shows for it in looks and cost! Anyone please tell me if you're interested in the hobby, I can link you to some places!
  9. In case you're wondering what one might catch on a humid summer evening.
  10. very cool beetles, they live long as pets
  11. Welcome tree spider! Where in California are you located?
