Nice photos. What kind of trees do you find these in? I find most of them under loose pine bark.

I've collected mine under loose barks of live oak, white oak (I think), hickory, and pines :)

Seems that they prefer large still standing trees with hard, smooth barks in dry condition.

Congratulations with all your success thus far. I have 2 P. rhadamanthus that I'd like to breed, but down the road I definitely want more natives. ;)

I've heard that Platymeris can breed through parthenogenesis so hopefully you'll be able to breed them :)

I've seen an ad on arachnoboards selling various assassins from FL. Perhaps you can contact that person to get more natives?
