Took only a week to socialize this monster. Love this pede.

Never have been bit yet and I plan not to. I have some that will try and bite so I don't bother with handling them. Others are more laid back but that does not mean you could just pick them up. It takes time through hand feeding, getting them to know your "scent", and by physical touch. They could be jumpy at first but after hours of working with them, they start to calm down.

That is just insane. How strong is the venom for this species? I hear centipede bites are no joke

I hear the venom itself isn't as painful as pedes like Scolopendra dehaani but if you have an unknown allergic reaction it could get bad.
