Just saw this message now. I didn't have plans on breeding them though I haven't read up on it either. I will try to get some good pics. I was in the river a few weeks back and saw a swarm under a tree hanging over the river.

 

Can't wait to see pics of the swarm :)

Seems that diving beetles are very common in FL. A friend of mine went to southern parts of FL last year and collected 12 Cybister sp. so I was jealous (until I bought them off from him. Mwahahaha).

yeah, we have an array of sp. but w/all of the constant construction it's getting harder,you have to go further and further away. to go collecting.

 

That's sad :(

Hope some of the collecting areas you visit will remain safe.
